Give People A Chance
They always find ways to surprise you.
For the past month, I’ve lived in a village with 26 strangers, with 9 people in my house.
And for the first few days, I was convinced I would be unhappy. That I’d be stuck with people I wouldn’t be able to talk to, that I wouldn’t connect with anyone, that I’d be miserably lonely.
Boy, was I wrong.
People surprise you. Initial impressions are almost always wrong, specifically when they’re negative. If you’re in a situation where you think you won’t like someone, don’t immediately jump into conclusions. Don’t block everything, thinking there’s no hope.
Give them a chance.
They almost always surprise you.
This is Day 6 of my 100 Words a Day project.
